Heavy/Alternative-Metal
group headed by New Jersey-native guitarist Zakk Wylde,
best known for his series of collaboration with Ozzy
Osbourne, began to start his first independent project
in 1995, 3 years later he formed Black Label Society with
drummer Phil Ondich and released the first of 7 albums, "Sonic
Brew", after several changes the band decided it was
time to take the show on the road by this I mean, International
tour.
In
the winter of 1999, Wylde and Ondich entered
the studio in California to begin recording
their second album, "Stronger Than Death",
which was released the April 2000; in October, that same year,
the group recorded "Alcohol Fueled Brewtality
Live".
The next album, “1919 Eternal”,
was released on March 02 followed by Black Label Societies
first Top 50 Album “The Blessed Hell Ride”,
in order to repay those that were beneficial to his own success
the first track on this particular CD features Ozzy Osbourne
on vocals, and it peaked at #12 on the Rock Charts
The
6th Black Label Society album "Hangover
Music Vol. VI", debuted in April 2004, achieved
as high as #40 on The Billboard Top 200 chart; the premier
single, "House of Doom", reached #33 on the Rock
chart. Black Label Society released its, ”Mafia”
album in March ’05, under Artemis Records the new album
features a promising single entitled "Suicide Messiah".
